Job Purpose
The right candidates will be expected to work on HIV and TB related projects which will be developed in consultation with the BHP and UB supervisors.

The fellows will be expected to register with University of Botswana for an MPhil (Biomedical Sciences) degree.
Qualifications and Requirements
- B.Sc degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Laboratory Technology, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics or Biological Sciences.
- A fi nal grade of 2-2 or better for the BSc is required.
- At least 2 years research experience is required.
- Abstracts presented in international conferences or publication(s) in peer–reviewed journals will be an added advantage

Botswana Harvard AIDS Institute Partnership (BHP) is a collaborative research and training initiative between government of Botswana and the Harvard School of Public Health. BHP is dedicated to fight HIV/AIDS and related public health challenges through collaborative research, education and capacity building.
BHP and the University of Botswana are part of a Wellcome Trust funded consortium called Sub-Saharan Africa Network for TB and HIV research Excellence (SANTHE) under the Wellcome Trust’s DELTAs initiative. One of the main objectives of SANTHE is to build capacity in Sub-Saharan Africa through carrying out cutting edge research on HIV and TB aimed at coming up with strategies to reduce the burden of these infections.
