LIGHT DUTY DRIVER - PULA STEEL AND CASTING MANUFACTURERS

The Pula Steel and Casting Manufacturers seeks to recruit inspired individuals who are looking for challenging jobs to join its team for the following position:

LIGHT DUTY DRIVER

Purpose of the Job:
To conduct driving, responsible for vehicle maintenance and messengerial duties for the company. Works cooperatively with the relevant department in providing transport support service to the company.

Requirements

Key Performance Areas:

• Updates the log book of vehicle use on daily basis for proper recording of mileage.
• Transportation services for staff and other personnel as may be required.
• Immediately report any damage, defects, incidents that assigned vehicle may have incurred or have been involved in.
• Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of assigned vehicle.
• Checks safety of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness on daily basis.
• Reports periodic servicing needs of the vehicle in advance to ensure its proper handling.
• Ensures safe keeping of vehicle accessories e.g. Jack, first aid kit, etc.
• Required to use GPS to stay connected with company offices.
• Complies with SHE policies and procedures in all activities undertaken in order to minimise unsafe incidents and accidents.

Qualifications:

• O’ levels qualification is required

Experience:

• At least Five years’ work experience in a similar position, in a mid-size manufacturing /trading firm/mining environment.
• Must have necessary drivers licence plus motorbike licence
