Human Resources Officer (1-year fixed-term contract) The successful candidate will provide a customer-based stakeholder service function to effectively and efficiently ensure the implementation and adherence to HR policies and procedures for contractor management. The position is on a 1-year fixed-term contract. Tasks and responsibilities: • Coordinate and administer relevant HR processes concerning recruitment and contractor benefits • Handle and manage relevant contractor/management HR queries • Ensure document control and assurance • Give input into and retrieve information from internal systems • Administer and control conditions of contractors’ movement • Ensure adherence to Security and SHE policies and procedures and compliance with Company policies, procedures and legal requirements. Minimum requirements: • A Grade 12 • A diploma in Human Resources • 5 years’ experience in an HR/administration environment • Proven computer literacy in the MS Office suite (Excel is essential). Other skills/competencies: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Knowledge and application of HR processes, including adherence to relevant legislation • Competence in the following systems would be an advantage: SACO; VIP Employee Management; VIP Job Management • Sound administrative skills.
