First National Bank of Botswana invites suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below in our Bank.

Manager: Pre-Legal

Reporting to the Head-Credit Recoveries, the successful incumbent will be required to reduce the cost of legal collections through management of the operational implementation of early stage (pre-legal) collections with a view to rehabilitating the customer.

Requirements

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Effectively manage the collections book to increase recoveries and reduce bad debt.
• Provide input into the development of an area specific tactical strategy and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy
• Gather relevant information and compile effective reports to inform decision-making.
• Ensure the development, alignment & implementation of end-to-end processes; leading to operational, process, quality, and standard & service optimisation.
• Accumulate information to report on work progress and use for decision-making purposes and the identification of improvement opportunities.
• Plan and organise multiple work outputs by assigning priorities and continuously reviewing objectives and goals
• Apply discretion and judgement to diagnose symptoms, causes and effects and to make decisions to overcome problems and to provide solutions.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Commerce or Management Studies.
• 3 - 5 years experience in a similar environment
