JOB SUMMARY
To operate plant equipment in a manner that allows the production of a final products to the required standards(efficiency, quality and quantity).Key Performance Areas
•Operate the Carbonation, Thickening, Filtration, Calcining, Compaction/Salt Washing,Drying_Milling/Boilers,Turbo-Alternaor,S02-C02 Absorption,Water Treatment plants in a safe an efficient manner.
•Carry out basic maintenance in accord with safety regulations and approved engineerin practice.
•Monitor equipment operating parameters and intervene when appropriate or elevate deviations to the shift Foreman.
•Prepare reports for handover between shifts
•Operate in a safe manner, respectin occupational health and environmental requirements at all times.Requirements
•O levels or equivalent, with passes in Maths,Science and English
•Possess a TRADE B in either MECHANICAL or an ELECTRICAL displine
•Previous operator training will be an added advantage
