Commercial Specialist
The role
To ensure that all contracts pertaining to Internal Customers adhere to Sandvik Governance and are reviewed agreed according to the rules, policies, procedures and guidelines. To ensure that all contracts and agreements are reviewed with a view to achieve acceptable levels of commercial risk to Sandvik. To ensure that all contracts and agreements are subjected to due diligence to achieve acceptable levels of financial ( business) risk to Sandvik.
Your profile
You are required to have one of the following tertiary qualifications:
BA Administration, BComm Business Administration or LLB
Alternatively at least 3 years experience as a Procurement Specialist/ Manager dealing with service contracts and contract negotiations and administration.
You must be knowledgable and experienced on Contract Law, Contract Reviews, Contract Drafting, & Termination provisions, Insurances, Liability, Consequential Damages,Terms of Payment and Amendment Control.
Also required is proven competency in Financial Business Case Interpretation, Personnel Perfomance Management & Training and Development, Safety Health and Environmental and Quality Systems, Negotiations and Customer Relationships.
Key attributes for the candidate will be impeccable ethical standares, high regard for quality & for deadlines as well as Accurate Record Keeping. Computer literate on MS Office is a must.
