A post is available in our organisation for experienced Engineering Geologist. The successful candidate will have proven track records in the geological, mineral exploration and geotechnical site-investigation areas.
The minimum requirements for consideration for this position are:
• Relevant geological engineering degree qualifications
• A minimum of 15 years post-graduate engineering experience
• Knowledge of codes of practice BS5390, BS1377, Specification for ground investigation
• Skills in geological field mapping
• Skills in description and logging of cores and cuttings
• Skills in geophysical ground surveys
• Proficiency in MS Office and GIS software including Arch Info/MapInfo and rock ware
• Valid driver’s license.
Prospective candidates must be prepared to work unsupervised in remote areas both within and out of Botswana including neighboring and other SADC countries.
