6.TEACHING INSTRUCTORS (14 Positions)

One year Interim Appointments with possible renewal

•Statistics (1)
•Mathematics (4)
•Physics (3)
•Chemistry (2)
•Geology (3)
•Environmental Science (1)

6.1.Main Purpose of the Job

•Training and education of undergraduate and graduate students in a discipline, and to build the knowledge base of a relevant field in the discipline through research and publication
•Administration of certain teaching activities within the discipline also required

6.2.Educations & Experience

•Recognized Master's Degree in a relevant discipline with 2 years experience in either teaching/lecturing/research or industry in the relevant field/discipline
•1 year experience in teaching, atleast as a teaching assistant

6.3.Competencies & Skills

•Demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching at University level and research
•Ability to carry out research and undergraduate supervision
•Coordination and management of teaching modules and programmes
•Personal Development
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
