Operations Manager

Based in northern Botswana, Great Plains conservation has an exciting opportunity for an operations manager. The successful candidates will report to the regional managing director and should be willing to spend time in remote environments. 

Requirements include: 

• Tertiary qualification 
• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in management position, preferably in a remote environment
• Experience in successful staff training and mentoring
• Excellent logistical management skills
• Fully computer literate in windows suite
• Experience in project management
• Excellent self-motivation and initiative
• Ability to work harmoniously with management and staff of all levels
• Ability to be resourceful, well presented and well spoken
• Minimum 3 contactable references
• Candidates must be prepared to live fore extended periods of time in a remote environment
