1.BROKER CONSULTANT
1.1.Job Summary
The role of the Broker Consultant (HVBB) is to ensure income budgets for the High Value Brokers Department are achieved through exceptional new business sales and service (customer retention). This includes, inter alia, prospecting for new business, active selling of BLIL products, attending to exception reports and providing after sales service which shall include but not limited to resolving of any new business queries, conducting presentations and resolving any other client queries.
1.2.Key Performance Areas
●Customer retention
●Recruitment & Development of law entrant brokers
●Broker relationship management
●Production of periodic reports
●After sales service
●Prospecting of new business
1.3.Qualifications & Experience
●This position requires a University Degree with a specialization in Business, Marketing, or any insurance related qualification.
●A certificate of Proficiency (COP) qualification is mandatory for this role.
●Experience in sales and marketing, interpersonal skills and frontline skills is essential plus a minimum of 3 years work experience in a financial environment.
●The individual must be able to work in a dynamic environment as a team member
