Manager Production - Truck and Shovel

Our Client - Our client is a leading, reputable, stable and international mining giant operating world wide. They are currently looking for a Manager Production (Truck and Shovel) with PC8000 and 793 experience.

Job Description –

• The purpose of this role is to direct and coordinates the activities of employees engaged in performing a variety of production related operations aimed at achieving planned production targets.
• Ensures the effective use of available resources in a safe and sustainable manner.

Candidate Requirements -

• Relevant Mining tertiary qualification
• Mine Managers Certificate of Competency (MMC)
• 15 years relevant experience
• Large Truck (793 RDT's) and Shovel (PC8000) production experience on Opencast Operations with broad knowledge of logistics, infrastructure design, and water and land management.
• Coal mining industry experience
• Ability to manage contractors and related budget as well as economic analysis and evaluation skills is essential for further consideration.
• Candidates having an advanced business/finance related degree (e.g. MBA) and Mine Managers Certificate will be an added advantage.
