2.INSTRUMENTATION MECHANICIAN
2.1.Job Summary
To ensure optimum plant availability and performance, through installation, maintenance and calibration of Control and Instrumentation Systems in a mining environment.
2.2.Key Performance Areas
•Installation, maintenance and calibration of field Instrumentation
•PLC, SCADA and Communications systems
•Safety, Health, Environment and Quality
2.3.Qualifications and Experience
•National Craft Certificate (NCC) or N4 in Instrumentation and Process Control and successful completion of relevant Apprenticeship programmes.
•Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years post apprenticeship experience in Instrumentation and should have knowledge in PLC, SCADA and Communication systems.
