16.ASSISTANT MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (2 POSITIONS)
16.1.Job Purpose
To organise and control the Mechanical Maintenance section in order to ensure that plant maintenance is carried out to acceptable standards to ensure optimal plant availability and reliability in accordance with safety standards.
16.2.Qualifications & Experience
•Recognized Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
•At least 3 years post qualification experience in the maintenance and repair of mechanical plant and equipment, of which 2 years will have been in a supervisory position preferably in a power plant environment.
16.3.Competencies
•Technical expertise
•Planning, organizing and coordinating
•Diagnostic ability
•Team leadership
