The Planner is responsible for defined work and projects with moderate complexity. In this role you will follow an individual work plan and meets day-to-day short-term objectives, and have the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. | |
• Focused on Material & W/H operations for GESAT projects & requirements. • Manage daily and long range planning / scheduling and support commercial team in quoting and managing of parts • Work with management in scheduling of components with vendors and suppliers • Manage daily and long range scheduling while maintaining productivity cost controls • Complete and maintain quarterly production charts and report out on a weekly basis the expected billing for the quarter • Maintain engineering schedule and assist in improving the planning process • Maintain schedules with summary reports immediately available • Plan and schedule Design Reviews for the product lines • Track product development processes • Monitor and ensure inventory accuracy within various locations and warehouses | |
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college • At least 4 additional years of manufacturing/planning/Scheduling or Project Management experience | |
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or Information Technology • Ability to work in a team environment and perform under pressure with tight deadlines • Strong project management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects at a time in order to meet delivery deadlines • Ability to influence change • Six Sigma training • Able to communicate at all levels of the organization • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Six Sigma training is preferred (GE Employees only) • Strong organizational skills |
