A large international Service Organisation together with a successful Botswana Catering Company has the following vacancy:
DRIVER
Requirements
The incumbent must be in a possession of a clean valid driver license and PRDP license, must have 3 years experience as a driver.
CLEANERS
Requirements
The applicant must have JC or PSL Certificate, must have 5 years cleaning experience preferable in a hospital. To ensure at all times that Company and statutory regulations of health and Safety are adhered to. To maintain the Company’s standard of hygiene of all crockery, glassware, hollowware and utensils. To ensure a high standard of personal and general cleanliness and hygiene to comply with statutory and company regulations.
FOOD SERVICES ASSISTANT /WARD HOSTESS
Requirements
The applicant should have a good customer service background. They must assist within the food preparation area and maintain high hygiene standards. The applicant must have a proven record of accomplishment of working within the Catering or hotel sector within the back and front of house environment. The applicant should be prepared to work shifts. Applicants will be expected to serve patients at their bedside and so good customer relations and waitron skills will be an advantage.
HEAD CHEF
Requirements
The candidate should have at least 3 years experience in a reasonably large-scale feeding environment over an 18-hour shift system. The ability to manage a team of cooks and kitchen assistants to deliver at least 500 meals, 3 times a day, to Hospital patients would be an advantage. This applicant is expected to have the necessary cost control knowledge to manage the menu and recipes under a strict budget. Formal Tertiary Catering skills and cooks courses will be an advantage.
DIETICIAN
Requirements
The individual must have a Degree/Diploma in nutritional dietetics and will be expected to operate within a Hospital catering environment. The candidate will liaise daily with the Hospital Clinical dietician to determine the components and regularity of prescribed patient special dietary requirements. Nutritional analyses of the catering menus will be expected and reporting into the Catering Project manager.
ASSISTANT CATERING MANAGER
Requirements
The applicants must have at least 3 years experience in Hospitality or Catering sector in reasonably large scale feeding environments at a senior supervisory level. A full understanding of menu planning, menu costing, and a proven track record of food preparation and presentation as well as good customer relations. The candidate must be able to work independently on shifts. Further skills of a working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft office software, point of sale, and stores management is needed. A Tertiary qualification at Diploma or Degree level would be an advantage.
