Maru-a-Pula School is looking for a committed, confident and professional person with good people skills to join the School’s Catering Department as a Chef and Manager of the kitchen staff.
Requirements
The Chef will be responsible for the day to day catering operations at the school, delivering an effective catering service that meets the needs of the students and staff.
The ideal candidate will have a strong cookery background which must include previous experience in a similar role for at least 5 years, excellent culinary and supervisory skills, inventory management skills and a good knowledge of nutrition, food hygiene and food preparation. The position involves the management of all aspects of the kitchen, including health and safety.
