VACANCY: SUPPLIES MANAGER
Salary Scale: D2 (P231 , 708 – P255,828 per annum)

Qualification: Degree in Supply and Materials Management/Purchasing and Supply Management or related field.
Experience: Must have 10 years relevant work experience, two (2) years of which have served satisfactory as Principal Supplies Officer II D3 scale.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To plan, manage and coordinate procurement functions.
DUTIES
1. Provides professional advice on matters of procurement.
2. Ensures that procurement procedures are followed by all user departments in accordance with supplies and stores accounting regulations.
3. Evaluates and selects supplies on the basis of price, quality, service support and reliability.
4. Prepares loss reports in accordance with supplies regulations and recommends accordingly.
5. Develops safety and security measures to avoid material loss due to pilferage and deterioration.
6. Develops an annual master plan for material requirements for departments.
7. Develops and implements storage and layout plan for supplies to ensure appropriate storage according to their nature and ease of identification.
8. Conducts supplies inspection to identify unserviceable stores and recommends disposal.
9. Supervises and guides subordinates in accordance with set standards.
10. Undertakes any other related duties as directed by management.
