MANAGEMENT TRAINER
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To equip all bush based management staff in all aspects of their lodge job descriptions through courses and “in-house” training.

Requirements
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
- Induct the newly employed managers and introduce them to camp.
- Train and assess new and existing management employees.
- Continuous communication with other trainers and the Service Coordinators in your camps.
- Liaison with the Training General Manager in making decisions to attain external development for employees.
- Illustration of training plans before training.
- Writing training reports after every course or visit to the camps on a monthly basis.
- Assisting HR with interviews for management employees.
- Actively promote the company as a whole and reinforce the company’s environmental credo.
- Emphasing through effective communication on new policies introduced by HR to all the Managers.
- To emphasise the minimum standards as set by the Service Team.
- To monitor the progress of Trainee Managers placed in the camps or in the office through set standard based assessments.
- To be part of the BQA Audit and the BQA board for curriculum development.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in tourism/ Higher education qualification in management.
- 5 years of work experience managing in a hospitality establishment and or 5 years’ experience of teaching experience in the hospitality field.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite.
- Teaching experience and BQA accreditations will be an advantage.
