Tebelopele Voluntary Counselling & Testing is a fast growing NGO providing HIV/AIDS services across the Country. The organization has 18 centres across the country. To continue with these successes, Tebelopele seeks the services of the following tenable in Gaborone;
OVERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Business Development Manager will ensure that Tebelopele Voluntary Counselling and Testing Centre (TVCT) is financially sustainable through resource mobilising, networking and forging of strategic partnerships. This will involve analysing of data on TVCT revenue and reserves and making appropriate management and investments alternatives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provides overall guidance on all business Development plans and project reviews.
- Prepares business development and project reviews.
- Leads the diversification efforts of TVCT and implementation, monitoring and support of new projects to ensure sustainability of TVCT operations.
- Developing strategic ideas or proposals for Tebelopele's success and increase in revenue, including public-private partnerships.
- Identifying industry openings, executing expansion tactics and meeting fiscal targets to help Tebelopele growth, Marketing and advertising Tebelopele.
- Acquiring an extensive comprehension of present market trends and developments, networking with clients, conducting presentations of new proposals, negotiating and making deals.
- Strengthens the Tebelopele brand identity with enhanced use of web-based platform and social media.
- The position supports the TVCT strategy.
- Documents all TVCT project successes, challenges and lessons learnt for future reference.
- Guides the development and implementation of a reporting framework for Tebelopele supported programmes.
- Contributes to the development of institutional and programming plans through ensuring that measurement mechanisms are built into the plans.
- Undertake market research analysis.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements.
- Collaborates with other departments in order to ensure business intelligence.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Business Administration, BCom, MBA or equivalent
- 7 years post qualification experience of which 5 years must be at managerial level.
- 3 years experience with grant and proposal writing with demonstrated success winning awards.
