Assembly Line Operator (5 positions tenable in Kanye)
The Assembly Line Operator will be working in the assembly plant in Kanye, as part of the production team under the supervision of the Assembly Plant Supervisor.
Main Purpose of the Position:
The Assembly Line Operator will assemble components to produce the solar lamp, of which responsibilities will include assembling, quality control and packaging.
Education:
A minimum of Secondary High School Certificate plus a Trade Certificate in Workshop Technology, Electronics or any other equivalent qualification acceptable to BITRI is required.
Experience and Working Knowledge:
The incumbent shall have as a minimum:
• Some soldering experience or experience in workshop/plant working environment.
• Good communication skills, ability and interest to work across a range of different workshop roles, good organisation skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high paced environment.

The above posts are for three (3) years fixed term contracts of employment.
