POSITION: SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER- D4

Applications are invited from suitable qualified citizens for the above position. The post is tenable in Gaborone.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To provide professional and technical advice on workshop and mechanical activities.

QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.

EXPERIENCE: At least 2 (two) years as Mechanical Engineer in Government or equivalent level in Parastatal or Private Organization.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Attends to customer queries and enquiries
Monitors adherence to Service Level Agreement with garages and dealerships
Submits recommendations to Principal Mechanical Engineer I for delisting of non performing garages.
Supervises repairs and routine preventative maintenance
Executes planned maintenance tasks by organizing manpower, workshop stock level, equipment etc.

SALARY: D4 (P180, 492 – P199, 260)

LEAVE: 30 Working Days
