REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in an Engineering Discipline – Mechanical, Electrical or Control & Instrumentation.
Seven (7) years post qualification engineering experience including Engineer In Training (EIT) programme
Project Management
Maintenance Management training
Middle Management Development Program
Registration with Botswana Engineers’ Registration Board
Well conversant in SAP PM
Experience in all aspects of Asset Maintenance Management particularly Reliability Engineering, including RCA, RCM, FMECA, Risk Analysis and Management
Demonstrated knowledge of opencast mining equipment in the Southern African context

Predicts and designs out imminent equipment failure through statistical and process control analyses
Maintains an auditable, comprehensive, structured and integrated asset management system aligned to the requirements of ISO55000
Continuously improves equipment performance through analysis and redesign where feasible and applicable
Reports asset performance accurately and reputably
Adheres to all Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures in area of responsibility
