We are looking for a dynamic communications and marketing professional with excellent oral and written English (additional world languages are an asset), and around two years of practical work experience in the field of communications and marketing, preferably in the not for profit sector. This will be supported by a relevant degree, such as in communications, marketing or media studies.
You have a collaborative working style that is at its most effective when informed by a sound understanding of INTRAC’s diverse external audiences, sensitivity to cultural difference, roles of teams and individuals inside the organisation and our network, the importance of brand, design and style for the projection of organisational identity. You are able to work to deadlines in complex work processes involving multiple parallel demands.
You can demonstrate a commitment to INTRAC’s core values and purpose. A good understanding of international civil society issues such as in development, participation / democracy, humanitarian aid, human rights, peace and conflict, or environmental affairs is an asset.
You will bring experience of writing and editing copy (using desktop publishing software where
required) for the web, in blogs, media releases, and social media, as well as managing and further
developing a website as an effective and impact oriented communications tool which is also facilitating
access to electronic and hardcopy INTRAC resources, which you will manage.

Shorter and longer documents and other input provided by INTRAC staff and associates will require
