Business Line Manager - Crushing & Screening
The Role
The BLM - C&S is fully responsible for the representation of the Product Area - C&S in the sales area. This includes distributor management, sales and profitability of the Product Area as well as ensuring local implementation of global product line focus areas and measurements. The role is also responsible for the technical and application support for the product line(s) in the sales area.
Your profile
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Minerals Processing) or 10 years’ experience in a Minerals Processing, Technical and Consultative Sales environment
- Or lower education with extensive experience with Minerals Processing, Crushing and Screening qualifying
- 8 years Management experience in technical sales
- Product knowledge with primary focus on Crushing & Screening
- Strong technical background across engineering disciplines
- Fitness for underground and surface mines/processing plants (Silicosis Certification)
- Experience in project and operational management
- Business acumen and background in business and account management
- Experience in sales & business discussions with senior management
- Successful & proven Value selling experience
- Strong service mind and ability to create sustainable business relations with customers and within the company
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer literate with proven Computer skills
- Business analytics skills
Responsibilities:
- Business planning, budgeting, forecasting and following up of the product line(s)
- Motivate and Drive Sales Sales team and KAMs
- Collect and supply information and inventions for Product Development to product area/factory
- Keep up to date with competition activities and ensure market competitiveness
- Collect and maintain market data of own and competitors activities and market shares
- Map needs and ensure delivery of relevant training for team (application, technical, soft skills etc)
- Ensure technical and sales support within the product line(s)
- Evaluate and advice on go to market models for product line (s)
- Suggest and evaluate distributors, in cooperation with dealer manager if applicable
- Implement global strategies/initiatives into the product line in the sales area
- Maintain a succession plan for key product line positions in the sales area
- Responsible for pricing and price development of the product line (s)
