Branch Managers (5) – First National Bank
At First National Bank Botswana, one of our many goals is to build a strong team by not only growing our existing Team but by recruiting strong talent who have the ability to ride with us as we travel on our journey to success. First National Bank Botswana is looking to recruit individual who are geared up to take on the challenge of running our Branches of Riverwalk and Airport Junction. The incumbents will need to be self-starters, passionate, tenacious and drive, be goal-oriented as well as champion of people management. The Branch Managers will be tasked with the overall responsibility of directing and managing the Branch’s resources in view of generating sustainable profits, along with maintaining the highest standards of customer service levels and ensuring that new business is continuously identified and promoted to keep the Branch in line with its future growth targets!
Requirements
The successful candidates will mainly be responsible for:
- Contributing to Dashboard/scorecard outcomes of the Branches. This includes revenue generation, customer advocacy, employee commitment and performance.
- Leading and coaching a high performing team of service staff and sales specialists to realize our commitment to serving our customers
- Developing and delivering on a business strategy and marketing plan for the local area
- Building up a positive high profile in the local community and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders in the local community to develop a strong referral base
- Taking ownership and accountability over internal issues including process efficiency and improvements, financial and risk management.
Qualifications & experience required:
- Business Degree or equivalent
- Institute of Bankers Diploma
- COP Accreditation
- Minimum 7 – 10 years experience as a sales and business leader (Retail banking experience desired)
- Strong track record in coaching and people leadership
- Experience in credit management
