INTERNAL AUDIT AND RISK MANAGER (VACC 002)
Main Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee of the Board the Internal Audit and Risk Manager ensures that the Corporation has robust corporate governance controls in place to mitigate against none compliance by developing the necessary Audit and Risk Management policies and frameworks as well as providing an independent, cost effective and efficient internal audit and risk management services to the Corporation in a manner that will fulfill the purpose, responsibilities and accomplish the corporate objectives as approved by the Board.

- Sound knowledge and application of legal and regulatory frameworks within aviation in Botswana as well as knowledge of current auditing practices and trends;
- High level of attention to detail and meticulous in his/her approach to work ;
- High degree of analytical thinking and management skills including planning;
- Extensive knowledge and experience of financial and business management processes;
- Effective communications skills( verbal and written).
Position Minimum Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Auditing or equivalent accounting qualification and possession of a Professional Qualification preferably ACCA with minimum of ten (10) years auditing experience, 5 of which will have been gained from a senior management position in a similar size organization.
