BCL Limited is currently looking forward to employ suitably qualified candidates for the following position:

DESIGN DRAUGHTSMAN

Reporting to the Chief Draughtsman, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• Designing and producing drawings accurately, within budget and on time for the Work Request originators from various BCL departments
• Producing accurate Design Drawings and details for the Smelter
• Completing designs and details for the various mining operations at BCL

Requirements

Job Requirements

• National Diploma in Draughting and Design Technology or equivalent
• A sound knowledge of structural steel, piping and general mechanical design
• Must have extensive experience on Auto CAD 2010 or subsequent versions
• Basic Engineering calculation skills
• Must have experience in the various Microsoft Office software
• Experience in a Smelter environment or mining environment will be a distinct advantage
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Design Draughtsman
