BCL Limited is currently looking forward to employ suitably qualified candidates for the following position:

TRAINING OFFICERS (WELDING AND FABRICATION/ELECTRICAL/FITTING)

Reporting to the Engineering Training Superintendent, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• Liaising with Government training bodies on examination dates and standards
• Developing training programmes and presenting training courses
• Evaluating training materials and standards to ensure that they meet BOTA and BCL competency standards
• Conducting quarterly assessments and moderation of Apprentices and Operatives training
• Ensuring safety of trainees and equipment in the Training centre
• Performing administrative duties related to Training

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with NCC qualification.
• Diploma in Vocational Education or equivalent.
• 6 years specific industrial experience, 4 years of which must have been an Apprentice on a recognized training programme.
• Must have experience and skills on Fabrication, Welding, Electrical & Fitting specific machines
