Technology, Projects and Drilling (TPD) aims to provide safe, efficient and cost competitive global well and project delivery, where cost competitive procurement will be an important contributing factor. We are looking for talented graduate engineers motivated for exciting and challenging tasks within the area of structural engineering and Naval Architecture. The graduate positions belong to Projects, Operation and Technology Excellence. Our personnel are involved in all phases of the company’s business such as technology development, early phase evaluation, engineering, construction and operation. The units take part in both offshore and onshore projects and operations in Norway and internationally. We are working closely with all the major suppliers within shipping and platform technology.
Graduates in Statoil will have a steep learning curve, and you are expected to work in various parts of our organization. - A variety of tasks are done within our different departments. Some examples of typical tasks for our engineers are:
- Participation in feasibility studies/conceptual development in Norway and abroad
- Participation in execution of construction projects in Norway and abroad
- Planning and execution of modification projects on existing platforms
Qualifications
- Students in their fifth year 2014-2015 or students who have completed a master's degree or PhD studies with excellent academic results in process or mechanical engineering.
- One year's of work experience or less
- Fluent in English (preferably in addition to a second working language)
