For a two-year Post doc. position we are seeking a candidate with substantial experience in applied research and strong quantitative orientation in areas related to capital flight, taxation and/or natural resources. Promising young scholars who have recently completed their PhD are also invited to apply. The candidate will be part of the research programme “Taxation, Institutions and Participation (TIP): The Dynamics of Capital Flows from Africa”, that runs over the period 2014-17, funded by the Research Council of Norway.
Qualifications:
•PhD in economics, political science or sociology
•Publication record in peer-reviewed journals
•Experience from research collaboration in the South
•Good communication, teamwork and networking skills
•Fluency in English (other languages are a plus)
•Self-starting and creative
