Qualifications and skills
- Business or law degree or similar through experience
- Additional degree in finance or economics would be an advantage
- Strong analytical skills
- Pro-active personality, and excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
Professional experience
- at least 5 years recent experience in providing legal services to banks and project sponsors on RE/EE transactions
- Expertise in structuring and negotiating renewable energy and energy efficiency project finance transactions
- Familiarity with the legal and regulatory framework in the region
- Knowledge of the suppliers and contractual terms and conditions in the market
- Experience in assisting project developers to develop bankable projects is an advantage
- Experience in integrating dedicated EE/RE financing products, tools and practices inside commercial bank’s organisations is highly desirable
- Relevant and recent professional experience in the target region is preferred
