Qualifications and skills
- professional engineer/scientists/economists with advanced degree or degrees (business background or MBA also helpful);
- sound judgment to provide precise technical, commercial, environmental, social and managerial evaluation
- up-to-date knowledge of capital costs and operation and maintenance cost parameters of diverse generation technologies;
- knowledge of market and competitive analysis, tariff regimes, commercial operations, and environmental compliance;
- excellent communication skills in both oral and written English; additional local language skills are an advantage;
Professional experience
- At least 5 years relevant, recent and ongoing experience in
- Renewable energy and energy efficiency due diligence
- Significant work experience in the private sector

- Relevant and recent professional experience in the target region is preferred
- Knowledge and hands-on recent experience in public consultation and stakeholder engagement is an advantage
- Experience with formulation and implementation of monitoring programmes is an advantage
- Experience in assisting project developers to develop bankable projects is an advantage
- Experience in integrating dedicated EE/RE financing products, tools and practices inside commercial bank’s organisations is highly desirable
- Previous experience in risk analysis, due diligence and monitoring with regards to Procurement and Social-Environmental matters of RE/EE projects is an advantage;
- Experience in setting up and managing associated technical assistance is an advantage
