Job purpose and key deliverables | To implement brand and trade programs in accordance to prescribed objectives in territory per country operational plan aligned to the marketing strategy, through the most effective and efficient utilization of field force & marketing resources.
Key Deliverables Operational Results
- Execute the marketing activities in the outlets located within the territory in order to meet customer and consumer objectives as described in the cycle plan.
- Train customers if necessary, providing required material and instructions.
- Ensure that the trade coverage and visit frequency targets are met according to agreed customer service levels.
- Ensure that stock rotation is done according to the FIFO principles.
- Execute objectives in terms of availability, visibility, quality and price.
- Implement and manage Trade Investment Terms per account plans.
- Monitoring and report on vending machines as per channel requirements.

Management
- Monitor & report on distributors’ objectives of product availability, customer service levels, stock holding to ensure that the company meets the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide data and maintain accurate records on competitor’s activities, sales and distribution and report regularly to the Country Manager.
- Manage and control all assigned funds, materials and equipment in a secure and efficient manner in order to maximise the use of organisation assets.
- Monitor and report on brand performance in the outlets (BAT’s and competitors’).
- Effective reporting and feedback on AIT activities, in order to minimise impact of Illicit/UP.
Relationships
- Establish close working relationships with the trade in order to gain trade support and loyalty whilst enhancing understanding of the trading environment.

Essential requirements |
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Tertiary qualification in marketing or business related fields.
- 2 – 3 years relevant FMCG experience.
- Valid Code 08 Driver’s licence.
- Namibian citizen.
- Previous Sales / Marketing experience
- Solid understanding of Microsoft office softward and a intermediate level of computer skills are essential.
