GENERAL MANAGER HUMAN RESOURCES
Role overview
The General Manager Human Resources will manage the Corporation’s Human Resource function within agreed targets. The incumbent will provide support to other business units by developing Human Resource, Industrial Relations and other related policies, processes and procedures as well as develop a centralized consultative HR framework in line with the transformation and strategic business objectives of the Corporation.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in a large corporate organization, at least 5 years must have been in a Senior Management position.
- Substantial Human Resource and Change Management experience gained in a diverse technology driven organisations, including experience in organisational rehabilitation and transformation.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and performance management.
- Experience in the utility sector will be an advantage.
Qualifications
- Relevant Degree in Social Sciences or Human Resource Management from a recognized university.
- Plus a Masters Degree either MBA/MA/MSc in Human Resource Management
GENERAL MANAGER INTERNAL AUDIT
The General Manager Internal Audit will provide within BPC, an independent and objective assurance, consulting and appraisal function that is guided by International Auditing Standards. The incumbent will be mandated to provide systems designed to add value and improve the organisation’s operations. These systems should help the organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, internal control and governance processes.
Monitor, review and verify the activities and operations of BPC to ensure effectiveness and compliance with internal controls systems and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce/minimize potential risk, protect and ensure optimal utilization of the assets.

Required Skills and Experience

- Detailed understanding of Governance principles and Risk management.
- Demonstrable track record and extensive experience in internal auditing policies, procedures, practices and economic data analysis.
- Experience gained in the electricity industry will be an advantage.
Qualifications
- Relevant Degree in Accounting from a recognised university.
- Plus a Masters Degree either MBA/MA/MSc
- Professional qualification in CIA/CISA/CCSA/CFE
- Accounting professional qualification will be an added advantage (CA/ACCA/CIMA)
