VACANCY: ASSISTANT PSYCHOLOGIST/PSYCHOLOGIST II/PSYCHOLOGIST I

Botswana Prison Service invites applicants who are suitably qualified for the following vacancies

SALARY SCALE: C3/C2/C1

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To provide preventive, promotive, psychological treatment and rehabilitative services to all clients through the framework of recognised authoritative body in the country.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must have at least Degree in Psychology

WARDER/WARDRESS

Botswana Prison Service invites applicants who are suitably qualified for the following vacancies

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Botswana Citizens (both males& females)
• BGCSE Certificate (or equivalent) with a minimum of 30 points
• Credit in English Language or better
• Aged between 18 and 30 years
• Be physically and mentally fit (Pre-employment medical examination will be conducted)
• No criminal record

REQUIREMENTS

• Botswana citizens in possession of a valid National Identity Card (Omang)
• No criminal record
• Physically and mentally fit (Pre-employment Medical Examination will be conducted)
• Must be able to demonstrate good work practices
• Must be registered with the Botswana Health Professions Council
• Must be aged 25 years – 45 years
Leave: 25 working days per annum
Benefits :(i) Optional Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50% and employee pays 50%)
(ii) Compulsory Contributory Pension Fund (Government contributes 15% and Employee contributes 5%)
(iii) Scarce Skill Allowance: 30% of basic salary
