Sales & Marketing Manager

Firetech and Products (Pty) Ltd is a privately owned company specializing in fire security and related issues.

Firetech & products team has expertise in fire and special hazard systems and life safety codes. The

organization aims to maintain continuous liaisons with its suppliers therefore offering its clients the latest

technologies and the best available products. We are looking for a sales and marketing manager with skills and

qualities listed below to join our team of professionals to take our brand to newer heights.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the sales administration function and developing the marketing strategy for the company in

line with company objectives.

Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.

Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company fuctions are kept

informed of marketing objectives.

Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for

each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional

strategy and sales effort), realistic costs of operating the sales force; and sales promotion programme

plans.

Responsible for the planning, recruitment, direction, organisation and control of sales representatives

to accomplish specific objectives.

Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through

motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development.

Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales team by establishing a system of reports and

communications involving sales reports and cyclical sales meetings.

Qualifications & Skills:

Degree in Marketing from a recognized university

5 Years’ experience in the same industry

Class B driver’s licence

Creativity and excellent communication skills

Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams

as well as clients.
