Vacancy: TRAINEE SHUNTERS
Botswana Railways invites applications from suitablt qualified Citizens of Botswana aged between 18 and 24 yeare to apply for positions of Trainee Shunters in the Operations Department tenable in varius stations along the Railway line

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
After completion of a 3 to 4 months training, successful candidates will be expected to direct and control shunting movements at stations and siding safely and in a cost effective manner to meet objectives of Organisation in accordance with laid down procedures

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATIONAL: BGCSE/COSC candidates will be expected to successfully complete an in-house training on Train Working Regulations (TWR) as a Shunter
EXPERIENCE: An experience in trains working environment or a similar role wil be an added advantage
COMPETENCIES: Mental alertness, good customer relations and ability to work with minimum supervision

*Shunting and marshaling duties
