Duties and Resposibilities
- Develop and implement the Affluent Segment Marketing Strategy. Plans initiatives that are effectively integrated into the company aims and objectives in liaison with the Head.
- Manage and execute the Affluent Segment marketing according to the agreed strategy including, product mix, product development, pricing and distribution.
- Perform needs analysis based on client information and recommended investment plans.
- Effectively source new business and provide a variety of financial solutions to Affluent Segments Clients taking advantage of the BIHL group synergies.
- Work closely with other departments and group companies to realize synergies for growth.Â
- Communicating the expected outcomes throughout the distribution channel linkages.
- Reviewing all marketing plans marketing plans to ensure compliance in the application at all times.
- Monitor sales activity and evaluation progress providing sound sales and marketing advice.
- Research and report on external opportunities for the Affluent Division and other divisions in liaison with Business Development
- Ensure product and service needs of the local customer base result in exceptional profitability for the company.
- Create new business development opportunities for the Affluent segment
- Establish new ways to promote a new culture of high performance within the Sales and Distribution teams.
- Conduct training for distribution and staff on solution.
- Manage the brand integrity.
- Producing monthly sales reports.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
- Preferably a Business degree or similar relevant business training, plus membership of recognised professional insurance body such as ACII(Life), FCII(Life), AIISA(Life), ILPA, CLU or FCPA.
- COP is a prerequisite.
Background Experience:
- 4 years of work experience in sales or marketing within a life insurance environment, 2 years of which should be at supervisory level.
- Knowledge of life insurance products, systems, processes and procedures and markets is essential.
- Knowledge of Financial Planning, Wealth Management and drafting of Wills and Family Trust Deeds as well as experience in dealing with affluent customers will be an added advantage.
- Result-driven, a self-starter, team, worker, innovative, excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.Â
- Ability to work under pressure.
