PRESS RELEASE – 2016 FORM FOUR PLACEMENT
The Ministry of Education and Skills Development informs the public that the selection process for 2015 form four placement is complete. 41 438 students sat for the 2015 Junior Certificate Examinations and 26 600 students have been admitted to Form Four. This represents a transition rate of 64.03% compared to the previous year rate which was 63.66%.
The 2016 Form Fours are expected to report to their respective schools on Tuesday 23rd February 2016. As such students admitted as boarders will be expected to report on Monday 22nd February 2016.
Students who have been admitted at the two new Unified Secondary Schools being Mahupu and Tsabong will report to their respective schools on Tuesday 8th of March 2016. Boarding students will report on Monday 7th March 2016.
Information on students’ placement will be in all Secondary Schools and Regional Education Offices countrywide.
The same information will be available on the Government Portal (www.gov.bw).
Admissions can also be accessed through a Short Messaging Service [SMS] notification by short messaging to 16688. Compose new message on your cell phone and type your: Level (Form 4) Centre-Number (e.g. 001) Candidate Number (e.g. 0001) Candidate Surname (e.g. Motsei) (Please include a space between the parameter values).
