PILOT

Job Summary:
The incumbent will operate the Company aircraft as required by management, mainly between Sua Pan and Lanseria but also to other centers.

Requirements

Key Performance areas

• Playing an active role in all aspects of aircraft operation.
• Liaison with various authorities for over the border flights,
• Maintaining aircraft records,
• Ensuring that maintenance work is done on time.
• Implementing Company aviation policies.

Requirements:

• “O” levels plus and Airline Transport Pilot’s Licence (ATPL)
• Minimum of 4 000 hours as Pilot and Jet experience of 1 000 hours as pilot - in- command
• Multi crew Experience 1500 hours
• RVSM approval plus ICAO English Level 6.
• Current Crew Resource Management/Dangerous Goods/Standard Emergency Procedures courses.
• Candidates must be prepared to spend time away from base.

Note: The following experience would be an added advantage:

• 500 hours on Citation Bravo
• Instructor rating as well as current South African ATPL and Citation Bravo rating.

Botswana Ash (Pty) Ltd is a Soda Ash and Salt producing Company situated at Sua Pan in Botswana, approximately 180 km by tarred road northwest of Francistown. The Company employs over 500 employees of which close to 300 are unionised. Employees and their families live in Sowa Town, about 20 km from the plant site. The town boasts of recreational facilities, which include restaurant, tennis, squash, swimming and golf. There is also an excellent English medium pre primary, primary and secondary school as well as public primary and junior secondary schools.
