  • Complex operational structure; our system has one of the most complex distribution systems globally. Also operating in a Franchise structure (which is poorly understood by partners) may make us seem conflicted and or make decision making slow. Need a Strong understanding of the operating environment in order to assess and recommend projects

  • As new programs are created will need constant process improvement for optimizing project outcomes, and providing direction for new projects

  • In most countries 5by20 does not come with a separate budget so finding ways to leverage existing funds and resources to fund programs and/or secure/attract external funding and resources from partners will be key.

  • Creating complex and sophisticated management reporting tools to generate accurate reports that will be used at the highest levels of the Company (The 5by20 Global team and office of the Chief Sustainability officer. TCCC Chairman’s office, and the TCCC Board)

  • Managing a full spectrum of bottler-related issues – from big corporate and sophisticated Bottlers to small – individually-owned bottlers

  • Evaluating the financial and social impact/evaluation of 5by20 programs and efficiency of spending. This will require establishing of new financial tracking models and systems

  • Working through issues with local authorities and Governments, mediating disputes that may arise and delivering compromise solutions.

  • Negotiating with bottlers, local authorities and local business owners as well as communities to allow/accept program activities and to secure their support to maintain projects well after completion

JUDGMENT AND DECISION MAKING:

  • Accountable for all decisions relating to optimal execution of annual 5by20 plans for each BU

  • Decisions typically relate to ensuring alignment and collaboration between 5by20 external and internal stakeholders in service of timely execution of 5by20 annual plans and delivery of 5by20 targets as agreed with the Global teams
