4.JUNIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
4.1.Job Purpose
When you wake up in the morning, do you wonder why people dont insure their most valuable assets? Would you like to help them get the best protection for the best price? If you did, then becoming an Account Executive at Alpha Direct might be the start of a great career in insurance!
4.2.Responsibilities / Duties
•Make phone calls to prospective customers and listen attentively to their needs
•Follow up diligently on leads and close sales
•Write an insurance recommendation list or plant to assist the client to make an informed decision
•Explain policy details to clients, including the risks for which they are covered, the rates and the benefits
•Survey clients to identify their insurance needs and how insurance policies might meet those needs?
•Servicing and managing existing insurance accounts
•Advice clients on their insurance needs and potential gaps in their existing coverage
•Maintaining customer database
•Exceed targets on a monthly basis.
•Follow up diligently on leads and close sales

4.3.Skills/Requirements
•A Certificate of Proficiency (C.O.P) - Short Term Insurance from the Insurance Institute of South Africa
•At least one (1) years experience selling short-term insurance products in the business market
•Excellent communication skills
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Perseverance and motivation from within
•An aptitude for working with figures and familiarity with standard insurance terminology
•Confident in selling products
•Excellent negotiation skills
•A vibrant attitude in life, the sun should always be shining in your life.
