1.SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
1.1.Job Purpose
This position provides financial accounting functions and other supervisory roles. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: preparation of monthly management accounts and drafts AFS in accordance with IFRS, preparation of budgets and cash flow forecast, monthly reviews of bank reconciliations and control accounts, preparation of monthly payroll reconciliations, review of cashbook and General Ledger on a monthly basis, reviews of creditors and debtors and debts reconciliations, as well as, petty Cash Reconciliation. The incumbent will be responsible for processing accounting journals and maintaining the fixed asset register. Experience in preparing grant specific financial reports is an added advantage.
1.2.Qualifications & Experience
•Must have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field/Masters Degree/ACCA/CIMA.
•The candidate must have 4 years experience in a computerized accounting environment.
•Hands on experience in PASTEL Evolution or Similar ERP Package is an added advantage.
