1.TRAINEE ENGINEMEN 

1.1.Job Purpose 

Botswana Railways invites applications from suitably qualified citizen of the ages 18 to 26 years to apply for the Position of TRAINEE ENGINEMEN in the Operations Section tenable in various stations along the railway line. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a two (2) years training programme as a Locomotive Driver.

The main purpose of the job is to effect movement of rolling stock in a safe and cost effective manner in order to enhance customer satisfaction through timeous and reliable delivery of goods and services at all times in accordance with governing regulations and TWR.

1.2.Qualifications & Experience

•COSC/BGCSE
•NCC in Heavy Plant Electrical/ Mechanical engineering trade

•Ability to work with minimum supervision
