1.LECTURERS IN EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE

1.1.Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be expected to:

•Train and educate undergraduate students for Emergency Medical Care Programs, using and developing new appropriate teaching methods. 
•Work with learners on clinical attachments & provide Advanced Life Support during medical emergencies
•Participate in all academic activities of the department
•Serve on committees with college and external professional organisations
•Facilitate partnerships internally and externally
•Initiate, develop and establish research programmes with other staff in the department
•Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the head of department.

1.2.Minimum Requirements

•Baccalaureates Technologies Degree in Emergency Medical Care
•Relevant Masters with demonstration of effective academic leadership will be an added advantage
•Lecturing experience in a tertiary institution
•Registered with Botswana Health Professions Council and Botswana Qualification Authority.
