The young professionals programme (YPP) is a recruitment initiative that brings new talent to the United Nations through an annual entrance examination. The examination is open to nationals of countries not adequately represented among the staff of the Organization. For young, high-calibre professionals across the globe, the programme is a platform for launching a career at the United Nations.
This year the examination is offered to candidates with academic backgrounds inEconomic Affairs, Information Systems and Technology, Human Rights, Photography, Political Affairs, and Radio Production (Arabic/Chinese/Kiswahili/Russian/Spanish).
If this is you, you may qualify to take the young professionals programme examination held on 4 December 2014 in locations across the globe. The application periods are:
14 June to 13 August 2014 for Information Systems and Technology, and Political Affairs
21 June to 20 August 2014 for Economic Affairs and Radio Production (Arabic/Chinese/Kiswahili/Russian/Spanish)
27 June to 26 August 2014 for Human Rights and Photography
21 June to 20 August 2014 for Economic Affairs and Radio Production (Arabic/Chinese/Kiswahili/Russian/Spanish)
27 June to 26 August 2014 for Human Rights and Photography
