1.CHIEF INVESTMENTS OFFICER
1.1.Job Purpose
The Chief investment Officer heads the team that administers MVA Fund's substantial and diverse investment portfolio and reports to the CEO.
1.2.Qualifications & Experience
•You must hold at least honors degree in Finance and related areas, or an internationally recognized professional investment management qualification such as CFA, or a professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA.
•A thorough knowledge of domestic and international investment practices and opportunities is necessary.
•At least 5 years experience in a n investment management role in a recognized financial institution.
1.3 Competencies
As well as being able to manage financial resources you would be expected to have strong leadership and communication qualities, be creative and innovative, decisive, results oriented and able to plan, organised and coordinate. As professional you would share the Fund's commitment to accountability, values and ethics, and as team member you would demonstrate teamwork and relationship building.
