| Develop and manage relationships with customers, partners and government stakeholders Responsible for business and sales growth leadership across GE Transportation’s portfolio. Develop influential relationships with customers at all levels and develop strategies to win profitable business from those customers Integrate the support team, including contracts, finance, product support, and others in the implementation of customer strategies Drive localisation strategies to implementation Support OTR teams to ensure contracts are completed on time, within budget and to customer expectations. Support recruitment process to build local Angolan team (ITO, OTR, Localisation initiatives, services) Drive training and development of local team and ensure appropriate retention strategies are implemented. Support regional team to develop appropriate processes and procedures for issues such as work permits etc. | |
| Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college Engineering and / or business qualification 15 plus years’ experience Strong commercial leadership skills with a successful sales growth track record. Extensive experience in Angola and the business environment Significant experience in leading and influencing direct reports and teams. | |
| Ability to develop influential customer / stakeholder relationships, plans and strategies, Project Management. Understanding of GE’s and customer financial drivers / needs Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to effectively lead and operate in a matrix organization Strong interpersonal and leadership skills |
