Applications are invited from qualified persons for the above positions in the Department of Wildlife and National Parks under the Ministry of Environment, Wildlife and Tourism.
Salary Scale : C3/4 (P62, 136 – P92, 064)per annum.
Leave : 25 working days per annum
Benefits : (i) Optional contributory Medical aid Scheme (Government pays
50% and employee pays 50%)
(ii)Contributory Pension Scheme (Government pays 15% and
Employee pays 5%)
Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Wildlife Management and Conservation, Environmental Science, Biological Science, Natural Resource Management or related field.
Experience: Entry level position, Experience in law enforcement will be an added advantage. Selected candidates will be required to undergo six (6) months Induction Basic Training.

Main Purpose of the Job:
To enforce Wildlife Conservation and National Parks Act, apply tactics and programmes to promote wildlife protection.
Duties:
1. Participates in trans-boundary law enforcement operations.
2. Plans and leads regular operational patrols.
3. Arrests offenders violating Wildlife Conservation and National Parks Act.
4. Gives evidence before Courts of Law.
5. Provides technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders on wildlife conservation matters.
6. Contributes to the tactical training needs of the Law Enforcement Unit.
7. Provides first-hand information to camps’ visitors.
8. Prepares operational reports.
9. Investigate wildlife related offences.
