DESIGN DRAUGHTSMAN
Reporting to the Chief Draughtsman, the incumbent will be responsible for the following: - Designing and producing drawings accurately, within budget and on time for the Work Request originators from various BCL departments - Producing accurate Design Drawings and details for the Smelter - Completing designs and details for the various mining operations at BCL
Job Requirements: - National Diploma in Draughting and Design Technology or equivalent - A sound knowledge of structural steel, piping and general mechanical design - Must have extensive experience on Auto CAD 2010 or subsequent versions - Basic Engineering calculation skills - Must have experience in the various Microsoft Office software - Experience in a Smelter environment or mining environment will be a distinct advantage - Minimum 2 years’ experience as Design Draughtsman
